UniTech in Nifty - Technical Analysis and Trade

Yesterday on 28th November 2013 we had figured out UniTech to be our Buy Call @ 16.20 with Stop Loss of 15.90 and booking profit @ 16.80, because of the following reasons which we identified from the stock chart.

(1) From following figure it clearly shows that it has tested a bottom four times in past two months.

(2) After its four days downtrend now it has a given confirmation and started moving in the upward direction with a decent volume.

Today morning on 29th November 2013 it moved in the upward direction with achieving target figure of 16.80 around 10:15 AM it we exited out of the stock.

Nifty Analysis: - What going in NIFTY?

It has been a complete 1 month we have expressed our views on the Nifty. Our eyes were continuously on the moments of Nifty. Following we have listed our observation in points: -

1. Nifty index consistently taking support near 200 EMA from the last one month, we have also witness Open Interest is coming down in this month but from last 2 days OI is increasing again.

2. Volume is also very good in frontline stocks like banking stocks, its positive thing ahead.

3. Most important, when Nifty started coming down from 5600, it has making lower tops with down trendline which is shown in figure.

this down trendline tested thrice & confirmed its importance.

When this down trendline breaks by Nifty at upperside direction, Nifty's next intermediate uptrend will continue.

4. By seeing Nifty chart with RSI, it’s clearly showing divergence with price from last 6 months, we can predict Nifty is gaining momentum

Since most of the things in the market moves on prediction we too hope by looking at the technical chart that in coming days Nifty will reach new heights.

Nifty Analysis: - What do technical analysis says about NIFTY?

For the latest on Nifty I have considered three most important factors as follows which will give a clue where Nifty will go in the coming time.

1. FAN PRINCIPLE (Trendlines)

By using Fan principle trendlines, we can say that trend has definitely changed. When Nifty rallied & started coming back, it has taken support at 1st trendline but after some time it has finally broke this trendline & tested 2nd trendline. By seeing this, we can assume that this 1st trendline will be next resistance & 2nd trendline will be support. Fan principle says until 3rd trendline, no clear cut downtrend continues.

2.  FIBONACCI RETRACEMENT

We joined from where Nifty began its rally i.e. 4315 & 5630 & draw Fibonacci retracement. One can see that Nifty is at its previous rally's 38.2% retracement now; it needs to stay above this level to resume its rally to upward direction. Before that I want tell u that these retracements suggests the support & resistance for next move.

3. Moving Averages.

Moving averages is the most popular indicator among traders & it is very easy to find. Here I’m showing chart with 50 & 200 Exponential Moving averages. Many traders forecast their trading strategies by using EMA & there try different EMA like 20, 40, 50, 100, 200 etc. I believe that these two moving averages (50 & 200) are very important for medium to long term trading strategies.

Nifty is trading near 50 & 200 EMA now & I feel we will see new recent highs like 5900 if Nifty manages to stay above 5200 & built up some buying near this level.

By reading F&O data, we observe open interest increased significantly & bulls bears both are equally strong for now. Next coming few trading sessions will conform who will take control & define next directional move. So it is very clear that Nifty is at very crucial point & we must wait for 2-3 days to decide our trading strategy. (For safer side we can go long above 5300 or long at this level with strict stop loss below 5200 on closing basis.

Nifty Analysis: - Will Infosys rise?

Today we have come up with one of the known stock called Infosys (Infy) from the IT sector. Here we have a history from September 2011 to till date i.e. February 2012. Following are some of the points which has developed interest in our technical analysis experts to speak up: -

Infy started its uptrend after making double bottom near 2200 & rallied till 2900 where it gave its momentum & stuck up in sideways movement.

After consolidation of nearly 3 1/5 months, it has come out from range bound activity.

Volume is also thin when Infy stuck up in range, volume will increase as Infy continuing its uptrend.

ADX (Average Directional Index) is rising since resistance level got broken. ADX shows how strengthen the momentum.

If we follow Fibonacci retracement theory, we can see that when Infy’s recent uptrend got disturbed & when it started coming down, it has tested 50% retracement level twice.

By using Fibonacci retracement, we can draw next targets for Infy is First Target 3190 & Second Target 3470.

We can buy this stock above 3000 (on closing basis only) by keeping stop loss below 2900 with targets of 3190 & 3470 in coming few days.

Technical Analysis for NIFTY on 30th Jan 2012

In yesterday's trade we saw some selling in Nifty with open interest decreased (it is quiet  normal to see open interest decreasing with selling, no need to worry) & PCR and other data still not showing weak trend yet. This is positive side for Nifty, let's see other side or we can say negative side below,

Nifty once again failed to cross 200 DMA, as per Bar chart analysis Nifty showing 123 reversal,

RSI coming down from overbought level, volume is higher than previous few days.

These are negative points & can take Nifty in down trend.

Technical Analysis is always based on If analysis, so we are doing the same

If Nifty manage to stay above 5040-5060, then Nifty will keep its up trend intact. if Nifty will pierce today's negativeness & close above 5135, an immediate short term up trend will continue till 5400.

It will be interesting to see what happens next....

Technical analysis: - Trend reversals using trend lines (Nifty, NSE, BSE) for SBI

Today we will see the reversal of the trend line in SBI chart in other words the trend which was followed by SBI from the month of May 2011 has changed from 10th Jan 2012 onwards as you easily figure it from the following figure.

Trends have proved to be friends so always stay with the trends never try to go against it. And this is where said that whenever trend shifts from up to down or down to up it gives us an opportunity to earn money in the stock market if it is detected during early stages.

Trend line is the early indicator which indicates that trend is going to change.

Trend line varies from person to person each of them use this indicator and draws the trend line according to their experience and factors they consider.

We have here drawn a trend line for the SBI chart by joining the peaks of the points which are tested at various periods.

So, two things need to be kept in mind while we draw a trend line: -

1. To draw trend line at least we should have 2 peaks.

2. These peaks should have distance of longer period like in this example we have one peak is month of May second and second peak is month of July and the third peak is in December month.

The above chart fulfills the criteria to be proved as strong trend line. Also to prove the strength various factors like volumes, RSI should be there to prove complete strength of the trend line. For the timing we will only consider the trend line and what factors need to be kept in mind before we draw it.

As you can also notice from the chart that SBI is reversing from the 10th Jan 2012 towards up side so it is good chance to earn money by investing in it.

Also see the following video which shows the trend line for SBI chart from www.tradingkamai.com: -

When Reliance Power is lighting-up for a Buy Call?

Today from stock pick list we have identified one stock named Reliance Power stock symbol is ‘RPower’.

Following are its some of the strong factors which has made it selection of the day in our list.

Point No. 1

From past few days RPower is under our observation and on Friday its had made huge volume built up along with price appreciation as you can see in the following figure.

Point No. 2

The second factor is that its RSI is diverging with its price which means that relative strength with price is moving strong. Its RSI has crossed 40 as we can see in the following figure. It is a positive sign for stock.

Point No. 3

Its third factor is that MACD is moving towards zero of the histogram. This marks as a positive sign which enables the interest in going long for the stock.

When to buy?

So now its current trendline will break only after it crosses 76 and sustain for some time or on Monday if its closing is above 76 then it is a triggering point for buy call of RPower else we have to wait till Tuesday.

Momentum is not so strong right now but it will pick up once stock climb above 76 & short covering as well as fresh longs will come in this stock.

So one thing should remember is that go long in RPower only above 76.

Nifty Technical Analysis view for this week 17th Oct 2011.

Hi to all,

In the last week we have seen a good rally in Nifty, which started from 4725 and ended at 5150. Many of our investor’s friends where partying and probably they are ready to pump more money thinking we have BOTTOMED OUT.

Fig: Nifty Day Chart

So have the good days started or is it again just a temporary bounce? So our tradingkamai.com started looking in to technicals. Always remember there are 3 kinds of people in the market: -

• Bullish and optimistic.
• Bearish and pessimistic.
• The smart guy who waits for signal and confirmation to enter in to the trade.

The last section of people must have bought nifty above 4940 because of technical confirmation. If you remember our last week blog we have talked about double bottom formation click here to see the blog post http://tradingkamai.blogspot.com/2011/10/technical-view-for-week-10-14-oct-2011.html.

Now some people are thinking that NIFTY would not cross 5175 as it’s a strong resistance. So some of them booked profits on Friday, due to which we saw a decrease in open interest.
Now many traders / investors / fund houses are waiting for the green signal or confirmation for buying. The confirmation will happen when NIFTY closes above 5175 with good volume and sustains there for 4 to 5 days or it penetrates more than 1% above 5175 in intraday.
Courtesy :- http://www.veryicon.com

If the above goes true we must see 5300 level in coming days.

Now let’s go to something stock specific: -

Reliance has broken its 860 level resistance. This resistance was its last months (i.e. September 2011) high. This breakout is also supported with strong momentum in uptrend. This price pattern is showing fresh seed wave formation and is an indication of strong reversal for reliance.

This also signifies it has broken its bear journey which had started from 1065 to 712.

Fig: -Reliance Day Chart

So our thought on reliance hence forth is 888 is next resistance , in short term to medium term it can be between 900-950 and for medium and long term it can reach 1050-1100.

Technical view 15 July 2011

Our trailing stop loss for Nifty has triggered on Friday last week at 5680, we saw 5760 on upside that day which has became strong resistance for Nifty as 200 DMA stood near that.
This week market has very volatile movement at both side, we saw 5760 and 5503 level for Nifty, it has closed at 5600 today. It seems both side, bulls and bears have equal force in market, Nifty has support around 5540 and 5500, closing below 5500 will trigger Nifty falling to 5400-5420.
PFC shown strong up move today, one can buy this counter near 208-210 with stop loss around 198 for short term target 220 and medium term target 250.

Happy Trading .....
